RECAP:
The first Taco Tour was a great success! Thirteen of us met at the Farmacia Guadalajara parking lot in Old Town. Since it was only 7:00 P.M., a lot of local taco stands were just getting ready for the night, but luckily the delicious Taquería La Hormiga (located on the same corner) was open and ready for business. Everyone tried to order conservatively since there were three more stops, but the smell of frying carne asada, chorizo, and onions made it difficult!
Our next scheduled stop was at Tacos Chuy, but there was a change of plans when we found out that it was closed for the day. David, one of our guests, suggested another of his favorite taco stands nearby, and it didn't disappoint.
Finally, we all hopped on a bus and crossed the river to the other side of downtown, where we finished up the night at two of Vallarta's best places for tacos al pastor, conveniently located only a block apart from each other on Calle Honduras: El Carboncito and Pepe's Tacos.
Thank you to everyone who came, and if you missed it this time, don't worry - PV Pulse is planning another taco tour in a different part of town in the future. Buen provecho!

ORIGINAL POST:
Join us for our third community event, PV Pulse's Taco Tour! We'll be going from Old Town across the river to downtown, stopping at four of our favorite taco spots along the way: the Farmacia Guadalajara taco stands, Tacos Chuy, El Carboncito, and finally, Pepe's Tacos. If you've been to any of these places before, you know how good they are, and if not, this is a great chance to broaden your taco horizons. Everyone is welcome, and all you need is money for the food and comfortable shoes. We hope to see you there!
