Announcing Puerto Vallarta Video News - Feel the Pulse of the Entire PV Ecosystem
The creators of PVPulse.com, the ultimate online guide to Puerto Vallarta, a Mexican resort city, are excited about being able to give people the power to experience two weekly video programs, Events on the Pulse and News on the Pulse.
Currently, PVPulse.com is the only website in the Bay of Banderas that offers such sources of video content to the viewer. Soon after launch, it has been embraced by the growing community,and now it gives an easy and fast way to stay informed on the latest news and insights. Both programs are in English.
“We felt that both visitors and residents who are English speakers would be interested in seeing what's going on around the Bay,” says Mariano Montes de Oca, the site’s founder and director, “Also, we started PV Pulse as a portal for the city, a one-stop site where you can get all the information you need about Vallarta. The news and events are integral parts of that information and video adds extra depth.”
PVPulse.com is a very young website and its News programs portray the unique blend of cultures in the area in an authentic and visual way. The creators of the site also promote the community by becoming involved in it.
Laura Gelezunas, owner of Video Diva Productions, is producing and hosting the two programs. “I am so excited about working with a dynamic team and developing regular video segments again,” says Laura, “There’re so many fresh ideas, a great deal of cooperation, and lots of energy.”
“When it comes to video, no one else in the Bay has the experience and professionalism that Laura has,” says Mariano, “she is very serious and passionate about her work.”
Laura has been producing videos in the Bay for five years. Before that, she spent ten years working as an on-camera meteorologist and a reporter for various US television stations. “Online video is the fastest growing segment of the Internet,” says Laura, “And I am working with the PVPulse crew on a new and dynamic project that will be launched this summer. Stay tuned!”
Mariano and Laura hope to move the quality of Internet video news on a new level.
Regular video programming, unique partnerships and continued growth are what Mariano and his team are striving for. They want the community itself to shape the direction of that growth. and are also interested in hearing about what the viewers would like to see.
