Mexico with four and Peru with two, were the only countries with more than one city at the top ten. Besides Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City, Playa del Carmen and Cancun also made the list.
For Puerto Vallarta is usual to make it into this kind of rankings, the accomplishment here is that the list is about the best cities in Latin America, not only tourist destinations, which speaks by itself.
