It's the third time Aviana Productions has won the Aurora Award. Last year the company, founded by Emmy Award winning television journalists, Jon Duncanson and Sylvia Gomez, won for a marketing film produced for the San Francisco Bay Area based non-profit, Reading Partners.
The company also won 3 national Aegis Video & Film Production Awards last year for resort marketing films that included golfing great Jack Nicklaus. Aviana Productions has won several awards for video work in the Punta Mita Resort, Imanta & private luxury residences around the Bay of Banderas.
The Aurora Awards is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries. It specifically targets products, programs and commercials that would not normally have the opportunity to compete on a national level, by focusing on non-national commercials, regional or special interest entertainment and corporate sponsored film and video.
