Two of the most representative symbols of Mexico, the Tequila and the Mariachi, now have their own museum located at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.

The Tequila and Mariachi Museum of Riviera Nayarit is an effort to promote the Mexican roots; because, what can be more Mexican than enjoying a shot of tequila while listening to a good mariachi?

The museum includes exhibition rooms, a boutique of premium tequilas and handicrafts, a Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar, and a stage for spectacles.

In the exhibition room of Tequila, you can learn the elaboration process of this traditional drink; while at the Mariachi’s exhibition room you will know about the history of this music expression, recently named Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

A diversity of services are offered at the Tequila and Mariachi Museum of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, as professional tequila tastings, temporary plastic arts exhibitions, lectures, workshops and private events.

The museum was inaugurated on January 9th, 2012, and it is located at Camarón #37, in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
