The Street Festival in Bucerias will include a Chalk Walk, a Handcrafts Fair and the Taste of Riviera Nayarit, a gastronomic event that includes the participation of the most important restaurants in town.
This year at the Chalk Walk, artists will compete to win the top awards with chalk art designs inspired by Mexican cuisine. While at the Handcrafts Fair, different local artists will showcase their products, all within the framework of the Street Festival.
During the festival, the Lazaro Cardenas street will be closed to traffic between Benito Juarez and Galeana streets, as there will be stands setup for restaurants, for the Handcrafts Fair and for the artists creating their designs on the pavement.
Then, a week later, bird-watchers and ornithologists will gather at the historic port of San Blas for the eight consecutive year, to catch a glimpse of the more than 500 different species of birds that live or visit the region for the season.
According to their website, the Migratory Birds International Festival contributes and strengthens to the massive conservation of the habitat of the migratory birds of the hemisphere, compatible with the improvement of the quality of life of the settlers of the involved communities and the protection of their environment.
The Festival will also offer different routes for the observation of wildlife, and a cultural activity program that will allow visitors to enjoy a more complete and interesting experience.
Finally, don't forget about A Taste of La Cruz, that will be taking place tomorrow, January 14th, at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
