Most businesses are just opening their doors, but visitors are already there, because it is such an enjoyable walk in such a beautiful place.

The greenery has really changed the view from that of the old Malecon, now it is a colorful delight to look at the sea from behind all those plants.
Our beloved sculptures are all back, they were restored and now look even nicer than before the renewal works started.
And then, there are these great stairs looking to the sea, made to allow people to sit and relax watching the waves and feeling the ocean breeze.
But, if we had to choose just one thing, it has to be the absence of cars. It is still not clear if it’s going to stay like that, but we hope it does, as there is nothing to compete with the sound of the ocean, and there’s much more space to walk around.
It's been one of the most talked about events of the year, but now the dust has settled, was the New Malecon worth the wait? We definitely believe so…
