At 20 miles across, Banderas Bay (“Bay of Flags”) is the largest bay on Mexico’s west coast. It’s also very deep. The two headlands that mark the boundaries of Banderas Bay are Punta de Mita to the north, and Cabo Corrientes to the south. The bay contains four marinas.
