From the very first glance into Cassandra Shaw Jewelry, it's clear that this is no ordinary silver shop. The elaborate, bold jewelry designs, the brightly colored silks from Mexico City, and Cassandra's unique and contemporary paintings all draw you in and challenge your mind to focus on one thing at a time.
Cassandra first came to Puerto Vallarta from Vancouver, Canada in 1983. After many return visits over the years she made Vallarta her permanent home in 1999. Cassandra's concept of jewelry is beauty, uniqueness, practicality and versatility. She uses sterling silver from Mexico and natural stones or other components such as mastodon tusks or petrified wood. Many of her pieces are designed so the wearer actually can create his or her own unique accessory. The look can be completely changed by adding or subtracting extension pieces.
While Cassandra designs most of the jewelry in her shoshe also carries pieces by approximately 12 other artists that she has personally selected. All of these designers also live in Mexico, making her store 100% "Hecho en Mexico".
You can visit Cassandra Shaw Jewelry and meet her famous Chihuahua models, Leo and Bean every day of the week at Basilio Badillo 276, Puerto Vallarta.
