Coco’s Kitchen

Coco’s Kitchen is that fine restaurant where you will always feel at home. The exquisite gourmet cuisine of the place has that homemade touch that you can’t find easily on a quality restaurant.

With 16 years in Puerto Vallarta, Coco’s Kitchen has earned a reputation in town as a place where you go for the food and you stay for the atmosphere.

Coco, the Chef and Owner, designed every single recipe in the menu, creating new dishes and adding innovations to the traditional Mexican dishes. Meaning that even if you order something as popular as Chilaquiles, they will be prepared with the unique style of Coco.

Located on Pulpito Street, just a block and a half off Los Muertos Beach, Coco’s Kitchen is a restaurant with a well-defined personality. The great patio with all that lush greenery around, and the bar in the middle of everything, adds to the uniqueness of the place.

Open from 8 am to 3 pm for breakfast and lunch, and from 5 to 11 pm for dinner, Coco’s Kitchen offers a fusion of Mexican and Gourmet food. Other words used by Coco to describe her food are healthy, homemade, fresh, ethical and fat-free.

“Every morning I go out to look for the best and freshest ingredients in every market of Vallarta”, said Coco of how she starts her day. And that’s exactly the approach that has made of Coco’s Kitchen a favorite of locals and expats alike, as the restaurant has grown in fame but hasn’t lost that personal touch that only a hands-on owner like Coco can provide.

A wide selection of wines, with special focus on fine Mexican wines, complements the offer of Mexican, Italian, Greek and Asian food available for lunch.

If during the day the atmosphere at Coco’s is fresh, energetic and full of light, it changes drastically once the sun sets in the Pacific and it becomes an intimate, romantic place that invites to enjoy one of the many exotic mojitos and cocktails exclusive of Coco’s Kitchen. I personally recommend the Passion Fruit Mojito, but you will be amazed by the incredible recipes that Vanessa, Coco’s daughter, has included in the menu.

Coco’s Kitchen features live music some nights of the week: Arab Belly Dance on Mondays, Bossa-Nova on Wednesdays and Arp & Flute on Thursdays. Moles Night on Saturday sum up the week, as Sunday is closed for dinners (Mole is a traditional Mexican sauce that mixes different kinds of chili with sweet ingredients as chocolate. A Mexican delicacy that you definitely have to try!).

But the truth is that, any day of the week, at Coco's Kitchen you will enjoy one of the best cuisines in the Banderas Bay and that easy-going and relaxed atmosphere that so many customers along the last sixteen years have find so alluring...
